Old St. Joseph Church

Title

Old St. Joseph Church

Subject

Old St.Joseph Church before renovation in 1969

Description

This is "Old St. Joes" before its renovation in 1999. As you can see, it's appearance is very similar to St.Norbert's church in Roxbury. Catholic Churches in general are built to resemble each other with characteristics like rose-stained glass windows, extremely high vaulted ceilings, and immaculate architecture on the inside and out. Old St. Joes was established in 1969 as the first college parish in the United States, which makes De Pere, Wisconsin, a very important historical point on the map.
