Description
The following pictures depict Father Inama's travels and thoughts about his travels during his beginning years of missionary work. As noted, he was born in Austria and participated in several missionary travels in Europe and then extended his gratitude toward the United States, after asking permission to, in order to increase the amount of German-speaking priests in the United States. In 1842, Father Inama asked Abbot Roggl if he could leave Europe and travel abroad as the demand for German-speaking priests increased throughout the states, more specifically the Midwest.
